Membership

Membership in the cooperative costs $2,000 per year. The membership year begins each July. The benefits of membership include:

• A Dividend: an annual dividend is paid on the net profit of the cooperative, disbursed according to the amount of cooperative services used.
• A Voice: your organization gets a say in cooperative governance.
• Cooperative Purchasing: combined hardware and software purchasing will drive down costs through bulk orders.

We expect the benefits of membership to increase as the resources of the cooperative grow.

Pricing of Services

Services are available to cooperative members and non-members. Services are priced on a per-credit system. The purpose of the credits is to provide an easy way to communicate a discount scale for bulk purchasing--credits purchased in quantity cost less because it is easier to budget for the services.

The current price schedule is:

All credits expire one year from the day of purchase.

Services

• Web hosting: 25 credits setup with a content management system. 5 credits per year.
• Email hosting: 10 credits per year per domain. 100 email addresses included.
• Technical Support: We pool our knowledge to answer your questions. Call us for help with any issue and if we don't know the answer we will contact the relevant manufacturer or organization and report back to you. Support is provided to one person in the member organization. Support designee may be changed once a month. Cost: 1 credit for 1 hour of phone support (1 hour per call minimum), 1 credit per 2 email issues.
• Computer Service and Repair: On-site software and hardware support. 1 credit per site visit plus 1 credit per hour plus parts and licenses (if necessary).
• Training: Improve your organization's technical proficiency. 5 credits per class plus 1 credit per hour.
• Telephony: VOIP, voicemail, and PBX. Price to be determined.
• Computer and Technology Literacy: If you don't want to hire a full time technology teacher, we can have one available on a part-time basis. Price to be determined.
• Development: If we can't find something that meets your needs, we can build it. These are bid on a per request basis.
• Technical consulting: We can help with branding, system design, security analysis, and system certification. These are bid on a per request basis.
