Coopercate is a technical cooperative for educators. As a member-owned cooperative, the organization is governed by the institutions and professionals who use our services. We facilitate collaboration between our members. You get a say in how business is conducted, and we have no incentive to be secretive and controlling. Instead we are motivated to communicate and cooperate with others to lower the cost of technology.

How We Can Help You

If you are a teacher or technology support person:

The primary value for you is community. You can sign up on the mailing list and engage in discussion with other people working to effectively use technology in education. Our community resources will always be free.

If you administer technology for your institution:

Cooperative membership is available for organizations who want to augment the skills of their full time staff, or for organizations that don't have the resources to employ technical people full time. The cooperative model takes advantage of economies of scale, so as we grow we will have more resources to assist you.

Coopercate Community Has Merged With OpenCoopt

We were pleased to find a like-minded community in OpenCoopt. Their experienced leadership has built a technology cooperative focused on all non-profits. It is in the best interest of our members to combine with OpenCoopt and take advantage of the additional mass and resources they have available.
